Prison Concerts

In September of 2010 we were approached by AAL and asked to perform at Dwight Women’s Correctional Facility. As artists and human beings, this was one of the most rewarding concert experiences of our lives. The women there were so over joyed to hear our music, that response was almost overwhelming and completely spiritually fulfilling. Later that year we brought our show to the Cook County Dep of Corrections, where we received the same over flowing joy from complete strangers. Together with the help of AAL, Sarah & the Tall Boys hope to bring our music to more Correctional Facilities in the coming year.
AAL is an incredibly valuable treasure for our community. Please support AAL’s efforts by making a contribution that will allow emerging and established artists do what they do best – entertain us and enrich our lives. Visit the official Art at Large website to learn more about AAL and to make a donation. Arts at Large is a non-profit organization that provides access to the arts. Particularly reaching out to underserved communities.
