We have a couple really cool shows coming up, the first of which is with a fellow east coaster, "Queen of the Minor Key" Eilen Jewell. If you have never heard any of Eilen's songs, do yoursefl the favor and stop by her site, or even better come on out to FitzGerald's on Feb. 25th to see us split a bill with her! We are very excited about this great show!

Dec 06, 2011Get Ready For The New Year at Cady’s!

 

We are headed home for the holidays! The first east coast spot we are hitting is Johnny D's in Somerville, MA. We hit the stage around 9:30, so bring your dancing shoes because who knows when we will be back to MA! Then we are haveing a knock-down, drag-out, honky tonk hoe-down at one of our favorite places in the world, Cady's Tavern in Chepatchet, RI. Its garenteed to be a great time, so come and have a blast with us and help us ring in the new year! We start at 9pm!

Then on new years day we have been asked to entertain some very generious people, you know the type, who would just run out into freezing water on Jan. 1st to support a worth while charity, Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics RI, So what they do is just run into the freezing ocean and risk thier lives for charity, all we do is play all day long for them, and possibly you! We are at The Narragansett Cafe from 1-6pm in Jamestown, RI.

Then when all is said and done, we wrap it all up with one last blast at Nick-a-Nees in Providence, RI. We will be hitting the stage @ 9pm and rocking till our hangovers cause our heads to explode, or the place closes, which ever happens first!

Nov 14, 2011Some of our favorite Locations!

This up coming week will take us to some of our favorite places to play! We are going to start out reuniting with a Rhythm and Roots allum, Harper, the didgeridoo weilding blues man is gonna blow your mind! We will be sharing a stage at the Zoo Bar in Lincoln NE, gonna be a great night! Then we hang around NE for the next night to play for the Blues society of Omaha at the 21st Saloon. Then its off to Kansas City. First we are in KCMO at Knuckleheads with Bill Wharton ( The Sauce Boss) & The Nace Brothers. Going to be another outstanding night of music, but at the end of this one, everyone gets to eat gumbo!! After we sleep off the gumbo we are in KCKS at Llywelyn's Pub, and then we head finally to St.Louis to BB's Jazz Blues and Soups to add country to thier name with our good friends Trigger 5!

Oct 09, 2011Texas or BUST!!!

So there comes a time for every Americana band of our generation to make a voyage. A voyage of discovery, a voyage of bravery and trepidation. One that will take us far from home, to a distant land of legend and awe. Of cactusses and desert. Of cowboys and cattle. A strange and magical place. This place is called Texas. Ah, just the name alone conjures so many images, it means something different to everyone, but for us it means Austin. And that's where our next tour is taking us, to the belly of the Americana beast, Austin TX. We will have nearly a week in and around Austin before we head a bit east to New Orleans and then back north.

We are stopping in some of our favorite towns on our way down and our way back. So check out our tour dates and see if we are coming to your town!

Aug 01, 2011Five Chances to See Sarah and Her Boys This Weekend!

Thanx everyone who came out to the shows on our last tour! We had a blast! But man, was it HOT!! Hopefully we will see you all back out next time we swing by your towns!

But on to the imediate issues, sorry the page hasn't bee updated, we are just so busy working on great music that some things slip through the cracks from time to time. Speaking of great music, there are 5! chances to see Sarah & The Tall Boys.

First is at the Honky Tonk BBQ, we are playing a early set from 7-9pm on 8/03/11.

Then we have a two-fer on friday the 6th! First we are at Uncommonground on Devon in Chicago, where we are playing their Happy Hour with a nice laid back acoustic set from 6-8pm. Then we head back to one of our favorite places in the city, Honky Tonk BBQ to play from 10-12pm, should be a very fun night of music!

Saturday brings us to The Smoke Daddy! A small but delightful stage in the heart of whats happening on Division st. So come on over and eat some ribs on the patio and come inside to enjoy a cold one with us!

The last show is gonna be a fun one, over at The Hideout they do a legendary Tuesday night acoustic set in the front room. And tuesday Aug. 9th, we add to that legend! $5 suggested donation!

Jun 20, 20113 Great Shows This Weekend!

This weekend you have 3 chances to come out and cure your country blues! First we head off to Michigan for a quick "Brew Cruise", and then ending in Chicago for a special pick-up truck bed performance at the 5th Annual Day in the Country Festival at the Hideout.

Friday: June 24th, Our first time at New hollands Pub, so very excited, we go on @ 10pm, FREE!!

Saturday: June 25th, Our second time out on the patio stage. Ahh, the found memories of the last time we played, cautionary tales of messing with the river, the great beer, wonderful tasting birds, we go on @ 6:30pm

Sunday: June 26th The second year in a row playing at one of our favorite summer festivals out there. A Day in the Country has 13 country bands, a pig roast, beer, and pie. There is absolutely nothing you would need more than that, nothing, and all this for just $10! We go on at 2:40pm on the outside stage!

Jun 16, 2011A couple of great shows this weekend! Come and welcome us back from tour!

Whew! That was intense! So many shows in so few days, we drove about 4 thousand miles, and met some great people along the way. There are to many stories to tell! So many good times, you will just have to come out and ask us about this weekend, and we have two opportunities for you to welcome us back to Chicago! 

First we are playing Honky Tonk BBQ this friday the 17th. Ahh, so nice to be home, and no other stage in the city really feels quite like home than the one at the Tonk. We go on at 10pm, so come with an empty belly, thirsty, and ready to dance!

The Second chance to catch up with us is this saturday at the Custer's Last Stand Festival of The Arts. We go on stage at 5pm and its a free fesival full of great arts and crafts, along with plenty of other great musical acts all day long! This is our 3rd year playing at this festival and it gets better every year, Hope to see you there!

May 22, 2011Lil’ Rhody or Bust!!!! Our First Tour of The Summer!

We are heading out on our first tour of the summer. And none to soon, we are all "Jones'in for Little Rohdy"! It's been about 6 months since we have been to "little rhody" and we are all excited to take in the sites of the ocean state. But first we are going to Ferandale, Detroit, Toledo, Columbus, Charleston, DC, NYC, Manchester, and Brighton. I know, right?

So many places to go before we can relax in the comfort of a cold Del's! But then we have 3 great shows lined up for ya in RI, the first of which is always a legendary afair, Cady's Tavern in Chepachet, so come out and rage on some Narragansett Tall Boys with The Tall Boys!! That show sets us up for our really special night, one of our favorite nights anywhere, our night at Chan's in Woonsocket! But I have to tell you this, that tickets sell out quick for this and there are only a few left, so if your coming, get your reservations and tickets now! After such a great couple days, we have to take a few days off, but then we get the second half of the tour started off right, at Nick-a-Nees, also klnown as RI's best dive bar! So come out and we can suck down some more 'gansets and you can wish us good tidings on the rest of our tour!

The final leg of the tour will take us from NYC, to Brooklyn (aka NYC), to Pittsburgh, to finishing up in Columbus again. After all these amazing shows, our van will bring us back to Chicago, to our homes, and our beds. It will have been amazing, we will all sleep well with the knowledge that we rocked the ass off of all our fans and friends and family, and it will be good.
